Wet’n'Wild Water Park - Opens March 19th!

Things To Do In Las Vegas
It’s going to be a hot summer, so what better way to cool off – and have some fun – than a trip to Wet’n’Wild Water Park? Only 15 minutes away from the Strip, this waterpark is located conveniently close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Vegas, but once you’re here, you’ll realize that this is really where the action is. Whether your motive is to have a calm and relaxing day, or you’d rather thrill and chill, Wet’n’Wild has something for just about everyone.

A Lazy Day in the Bay

Maybe you’ve come a long way, or perhaps it’s just been a really long week, but if you’re feeling the need to relax, Wet’n’Wild’s got you covered for a day of unwinding. The Colorado Cooler is Wet’n’Wild’s endless river, which runs 1100 foot laps of gentle currents and occasional surprises. Or, for some fun in the waves, you and your companions can spend some time at Red Rock Bay, the water park’s wave pool. During the summer, the Red Rock Bay is the perfect venue for some Dive-In Movie events. If you’d rather stay dry, there is lounge seating handily based around the Bay.

Rides To Excite

Your visit doesn’t have to be a tranquil one, as Wet’n’Wild has rides built to excite even the bravest of your group. And with so many experiences to choose from, your day is guaranteed to never let up. For those with no fear of heights, there’s Canyon Cliffs, which puts you in a plummet from six stories up, reaching speeds up to 33 feet per second. That’s fast! For the competitive, have a go on Desert Racers, which pits riders against each other to see who will reach the end first. And don’t forget the group options. Rides like the Tornado, the Hoover Half Pipe, and the Royal Flush Extreme let two to four riders face the plunges together.

Bonus Highlights

At Wet’n’Wild, it isn’t all about the water. While there’s surely enough activities to keep you busy, you’re bound to work up an appetite. If you get hungry, stop by the Oasis Cafe, where you can grab some snacks and cold treats and regain your energy. Or, for those who’d rather conserve their energy in the shade, Wet’n’Wild also offers cabana rentals. The cabana is nothing short of luxurious, with air conditioning, a mini fridge, and unlimited food and drinks all day. The cabana rental also comes with eight Xpress Bands, which will allow wearers to reserve a place in line ahead of time. With nothing to worry about and easier access to rides, this option is prime for group events.

Wet’n’Wild opens March 19, but tickets are available now. Fun events are scheduled for the entire season, but there’s little doubt you’ll have fun no matter when you go. General admission will get you into the park for the day, but with so much do and fun to be had, you may just have to take a look at getting a season pass!
