Things to Do in Las Vegas This March

Things To Do In Las Vegas
Tired of the same-old, same-old routine? Sounds like you need to get out and do something fun! If you’re looking for something to do, look no further than these upcoming events happening in the Las Vegas area. Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life Everybody (yeah), rock your body, because March marks the beginning of the hotly anticipated Backstreet Boys residency at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood & Casino. The group, which has been performing together for more than 20 years–if you can believe it–pulls out all the stops to bring their fans all the greatest hits. Shows occur every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. If you’ve been wanting to see this classic boy band, you’ll have to act a little quickly, as the show is slated to run through only the end of June. Fremont Street Experience St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl If you haven’t looked at a calendar, you might’ve forgotten that St. Patrick’s Day is this month! It may be tradition to wear green and eat Irish foods, but if you’re wanting to go out and celebrate, what better way to do it than with a visit downtown? There are sure to be plenty of events going on near the Strip, but the Freemont Street pub crawl sounds especially fun. The crawl, which takes party-goers to eight bars, will feature all the drink and food specials you expect, with one very interesting twist: bar changes will be led by a bagpipe band! Spring Fling Book Fair Not enough books in your personal library? You’re going to have to visit the Spring Fling Book Fair on March 25 at the Clark County Library. This isn’t any old book fair, though. The event will host multiple local authors who will be there to talk about their books, offer signatures, and guide free workshops. The event is free and takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maybe you’ll find that perfect summer beach read! Boulder City Beerfest Over the past decade, the craft beer industry has exploded, with a new brewery seemingly opening every day. If you like beer, this is definitely a good thing, though it can be hard to try out all the new drinks that are constantly coming out. All the more reason to get caught up at the Boulder City Beerfest, which is happening at Wilbur Square Park on March 25. Thirty breweries will be in attendance, and an admission ticket will get you all the free samples you can drink. Sierra Nevada, Stone Brewing, and Founders Brewing are just a few big names that you can expect to see there. Annual Glass Craft & Bead Expo Billed as America’s largest and favorite, the Glass Craft & Bead Expo begins March 31 at South Point Hotel and Casino. There are two main draws to this expo – the classes and the exhibits. If you like working with crafts, you’ll want to check out some of the dozens of classes, which range from glass painting to ring making. However, you could have a wonderful time just browsing the expo floor and taking in the amazing art from all around the world.
