Valentine’s Day is that special time of year when it’s always a good idea to go above and beyond to let that special someone know how much they mean to you. While it’s a good idea to let them know that you care for them throughout the year, there is no escaping the need to do a bit extra on February 14th.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to go all-out for their significant other. After all, it’s not a national holiday and most people have to spend the day working. Therefore, it’s important to find easy options for the perfect romantic meal.  Here are some easy romantic meals for Valentine’s Day that your significant other will be sure to enjoy.

Beef Tenderloin

You don’t get much easier than something that you can throw either on the grill or stovetop, and it’s ready to go just a few minutes later. To cook up some beef tenderloin, you’ll need only about half-an-hour or so. After you prepare your cut of meat with seasoning, then simply throw it on for as long as you’d like in order to get the perfect color tenderloin. To add flavor, consider also making a balsamic tomato topping. By just mixing some balsamic dressing, chopped tomatoes, and thyme, you’ll have the perfect addition to top your beef tenderloin with. This option is super easy, and it won’t take much time if you are in a crunch.

Marinated Shrimp Scampi

Marinated shrimp scampi is a great meal that is ideal for those who can’t eat red meat. Shrimp is a tasty treat that can enjoyed as either an appetizer or as a meal itself. In the case of this recipe, you’ll just need to set the shrimp in a white wine and crushed red pepper marinade. After they have developed a nice coating, then you can stick them either on the grill or stovetop. Wait until each side has cooked golden, and you’ll be ready to go. In total, this quick and easy meal takes roughly an hour to make, and it’ll provide a creative meal that your significant other will like.

Spaghetti And Meatballs

There are few meals that are more classic or romantic than spaghetti and meatballs. With this meal, you don’t have to do anything special. Simply throw some pasta in a pot of boiling water, and then wait about 15 minutes until they are ready to go. At the same time, you can also use some meat (either hamburger or turkey) to make up meatballs. While hamburger meatballs are a traditional option that most people love, turkey meatballs are a healthier alternative for those that do not enjoy red meat.
