Concerts Coming To Las Vegas This Summer

Things To Do In Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a hub of entertainment, nightlife, partying, and just about every other form of fun. It is one of the best cities in the world, if not the best, to be in if you want to see a major musical artist. Below are some of the biggest concerts coming to Las Vegas this summer!

May

There are some huge headliners coming to Vegas to kick off the summer concert season. None are bigger than Mariah Carey, who will be performing from May 2nd-13th at Caesars Palace. She will be returning in July for a similar stay, so there are plenty of chances to see her this summer. In addition to Mariah Carey, Journey, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Celine Dion, Cher, and so many more will be coming to Las Vegas next month. For those not as interested in a big concert, Dave Chappelle will be performing on May 5th. He will be performing live at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and tickets are quickly selling out. There are limited tickets available for all these artists since the concerts are in a short month, so we suggest acting fast if you plan on trying to attend.

Billboard Music Awards

The 2017 Billboard Music Awards will once again be taking place in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 21st at T-Mobile Arena. One of the biggest music award shows of the year, The Billboard Music Awards will feature anyone who is someone in the music industry. There are some very unique things happening at this years’ awards. Drake and The Chainsmokers are tied with a record 22 nominations for awards this year. The current record for most awards won in one Billboard Music Awards is 12 by Adele. But Drake, The Chainsmokers, Twenty One Pilots, or Rihanna have a chance to surpass this mark this year. Taylor Swift currently holds the record for most awards lifetime with 21, but Justin Bieber among others has a good shot to surpass this next month. As always, there will be huge headliner performers at the show, although exactly who is not yet clear. Tickets start at $114 which is a great price considering the show you will be seeing. For those feeling a little more bold, VIP seats among the celebrities are available for around $3,000 a ticket!

Other big shows

May is the big concert month this summer in Las Vegas, but there are still huge events throughout the rest of the summer. Def Leppard will be performing with Poison & Tesla on 6/17 at the MGM Grand Arena. This is your chance to see a once in a lifetime act, especially considering Def Leppard could be nearing the end of their touring days. Tickets are just $57, making this one of the best value events of the summer. On June 30th, Future, Migos, Tory Lanez, and Kodak Black will be doing a joint show at T-Mobile Arena. If you aren’t up to date on hip hop and rap music, Future is pretty much the most popular artist today, with Migos not far behind. Kodak Black is one of the biggest up and coming rappers, so the opportunity to see them all together is certainly something rap fans should not pass on. A final concert we will highlight is another international superstar, the self-proclaimed Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull. Pitbull is an artist that truly resonates with all ages, demographics, and music tastes. He might be the most popular artist today considering his international popularity. He will be doing 8 shows from the end of July to the beginning of August at the Axis Theater in Planet Hollywood, so there are plenty of chances to see one of the most famous artists in the world.

Las Vegas will be home to just about every big act in music this summer. There are few cities that will have even half of the artists coming this summer, so Las Vegas is a good place to be.
