Best Subscription Boxes

Apartment Living
It seems you can have just about anything delivered to your doorstep nowadays. Groceries. Clothes. You name it - it can be shipped directly to you. As if online shopping wasn’t enough, monthly subscription boxes have skyrocketed in popularity. There are all sorts of companies that are now putting together monthly boxes filled with items they think you’ll love. If you haven’t tried a monthly subscription box, here’s a list of some of the best ones out there and what you can expect to find in them each month.

Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix is one of the original clothing subscriptions. Originally, Stitch Fix was only for women, but they have now branched out to cover plus sizes, men, and children. To get started with Stitch Fix you go online and fill out your profile - which includes sizes and styles you are looking for, along with a price range you’d like to be within. Then a stylist picks out clothes geared to your tastes, and they are shipped to your home. You keep what you want and send back what you don’t.

Menlo Club

Menlo is like Stitch Fix, but for men only. The cost is $60 per month, and you will find everything from clothes to shoes to accessories in the boxes. Menlo says that each package should contain 2-3 items per month and there is no long-term commitment.

Dollar Shave Club

If you’re looking to have your razor, razor blades, and shower and shave creams sent straight to you - this is a fantastic club. Dollar Shave Club sends you boxes when you choose - making it a little different from your standard subscription boxes that ship on a set date. The reviews are great, and there is no long-term commitment.

Birchbox is a fun subscription that sends you makeup and beauty samples each month. Perfect for the woman who loves trying new things and before buying a full-sized product. The price-point on this box is excellent, too - as low as $13 per month if you sign up for a 12-month subscription. (It makes for a great present!) They’ve also launched a men’s grooming subscription box.

Hello Fresh

One of the most popular subscriptions nowadays is meal delivery. Hello Fresh is one of those services. Each week you pick the meals you’d like, and all of the ingredients with the recipes are sent to your home. All you have to do is prepare the meal. No shopping and the recipes are easy to follow.

My Coffee and Book Club

Coffee and books seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly - so it’s no surprise that there’s a club to deliver both. Each month you receive 12 ounces of gourmet coffee, two hardcover books, and an eBook for as little as $31.99. You even get to pick out your preferred genre of book - so you can receive books tailored to your tastes. Or, you can choose the “Surprise Me” box - and get just that - a surprise!

Craft Beer Club

Who doesn’t want 12 craft beers delivered directly to your doorstep? Great for the beer lover who’s looking to explore different breweries from the comfort of their living room. And, this would also make a great gift!

FabFitFun sends out their subscription four times per year and costs about $49.99 per box. Inside you’ll find products related to fashion, fitness, beauty, and wellness. They state that each box is worth approximately $200 - so at $49.99 it’s a good price.

Hygge Box

Are you looking for a bit of coziness and comfort delivered to your home? Get the Hygge Box! Each month you’ll find 4-5 items that are bound to inspire the hygge lifestyle. The standard Hygge Box starts at $25 per month, while the deluxe box starts at $36.50.
If you’re looking to get in on the subscription box craze - there are lots from which to choose. From the practical, like weeknight meals; to the fun, like makeup and beer; subscription boxes are a delivery you’ll look forward to!
